Meet Shannon Iacobacci

Shannon Iacobacci is first and foremost a mom of multiple children with varying
brain-based conditions, including Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD),
learning disabilities, and mental health conditions. She knows firsthand what it’s
like parenting and advocating for children and teens with FASD and
developmental disabilities.

Shannon specializes in FASD as an educator, trainer, advocate, Certified
Facilitator of the FASCETS Neurobehavioral Model, and a Master IEP Coach
She is the founder of Embracing The Brain, providing education and training to
caregivers, foster and adoptive parents, educators, social workers, mental health
professionals, students, employers, and organizations.

She has coached families in applying the FASCETS Neurobehavioral Model at
home and in school settings. As an FASD specialist, she helps families living with
FASD struggling with executive functioning, attention, behaviors, memory, social
& adaptive skills, and mental health conditions associated with FASD. As an IEP
parent mentor, she takes a collaborative approach and comes alongside you, to
empower and equip you throughout the IEP process.
