Meet Shannon Iacobacci

As a foster and adoptive mom, she knows first hand what it’s like parenting children and teens with FASD and developmental disabilities. Reflecting on her foster parent trainings she realized there was misinformation about FASD being given to potential foster families and caregivers.

She sought trainings from leaders within the FASD community, gathering as much knowledge as she could. After a year long intensive training, she received her certification as a Certified Trainer of the FASCETS Neurobehavioral Model. She has trained thousands of caregivers, foster/adoptive parents, mental health professionals, students, educators and organizations on FASD.

Shannon is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others and hopes to empower caregivers, educators, professionals, organization, and those within the FASD population, by providing tools for navigating day to day living.
